With great joy, Åland United announces that defender Anna Nurmi is returning to the club. After a year during which she gained valuable experience on Iceland, she is once again part of our team. In recent weeks, Anna has already trained with Åland United and has received playing time in both the friendly match against GUSK and the cup match against HPS.
"That we managed to sign a contract with Anna on such short notice is very good news for Åland United. We are not only getting a player who already knows the island and the club, but also a new signing who can play in several positions in the backline, is strong in duels, and is proficient with both feet," says head coach Daniel Norrmén.
