Åland United strengthens the coaching staff for the 2025 season with Ville-Petteri Laiho as assistant coach and goalkeeping coach. The Finn joins from Musan Salama (MuSa) and brings valuable experience, particularly in goalkeeper training.
Laiho has worked with various teams in recent years. Most recently, he was the assistant coach for MuSa’s women’s team while also being responsible for the development of the club’s goalkeepers. Now, he looks forward to the new challenge in the Nationella Ligan and to working alongside head coach Daniel Norrmén and the entire Åland United team.
“It is great news that we have now reached an agreement with Ville for a contract for 2025. We have been working on this position in the coaching staff for some time, and with Ville, we now get a coach who has previously worked with the tasks this role requires. The fact that he has experience in both women’s and men’s football is an advantage.” says head coach Daniel Norrmén.
